The Valiant Quest for the Misfit Menagerie
*On Friday, January 31st we had our fourth "Breakfast with Books" book club.
*Our selection was The Valiant Quest for the Misfit Menagerie by Jacqueline Resnick.
*I read the first book The Daring Escape of the Misfit Menagerie to my entire class earlier this year.
*They enjoyed the story so much that I decided to pick the sequel for a book club selection.
*The response was great and the readers enjoyed this second (and last) story in the series.
*The book club was lucky enough to Skype with Jacqueline during our discussion on Friday.
*Each reader was able to ask a question and get a response from the author.
*We had a wonderful talk, ate some tasty breakfast treats, and enjoyed our book club gathering.
