"Home" by Phillip Phillips
*This has been a favorite of mine for quite some time.
*I use to be an Idol fan in the early days, but stopped watching several years ago.
*The song came to my attention via the radio.
*I have used it before with previous classes and has always been well received.
*The music and words seem to hit a positive cord with my young writers.
*The message of the song is positive and speaks to the nature of "home."
