"I've Lived" by One Republic
*Monday brings another musical selection that I will share with my students.
*I have found that music can lead to some really deep and meaningful writing.
*Both videos will be shared several times throughout the week.
*After we watch one video on Monday, my students will write in their writer's notebooks.
*They can record their thoughts, reactions, feelings, emotions, reminders, or connections.
*The writers spend between five and ten minutes in their notebooks.
*After writing, a few of the kids will share what they wrote.
*The lyrics of the song are quite powerful and I find the first video very emotional.
