"High Above the City"
*My challenge each Wednesday is to find a photograph that will be motivating to my writers.
*I thought this one would do just that.
*After I reveal the photo to the class, we spend some time discussing it.
*The writers then write their reactions, thoughts, feelings, reminders, or connections to the picture.
*They can also write a fiction story if they would like.
*We write between five and ten minutes.
*If there is time at the end, I will have a few of the writers share what they wrote.
*Now I need to start thinking about next week's photograph!
