"Strong Ant"
*Every Wednesday I share a picture with my students for "Picture Wednesday."
*We discuss the picture as a class.
*The writers then get busy writing in their notebooks.
*They can write their reactions, thoughts, feelings, connections, or reminders.
*I also encourage them to create a fiction story if they would like.
*After about 5-10 minutes of writing, a few will share out with the class.
*It will be interesting to see what they write about with this photograph.
