*My fourth graders had our second opportunity to interact with an author during this time of "distance learning".
*During the last month or so, my readers spent their time reading one, two, or all three of Elly Swartz's novels.
*When I gave Elly a call to see if she would be willing to join us for our "Breakfast with Books" book club. She gave me a great BIG yes!!!
*The readers gathered on Thursday, April 30th via Google Meet. Everyone had a chance to share comments and questions with Elly.
*The hour went by so quickly and everyone enjoyed our time with Elly, each other, and our guests. We had some students from other classes, a boy who is living in Chili, and even a grandmother of one of my students.
*Reading has NO boundaries!
