*Even though "distance learning" hasn't been easy, there have been a few highlights and special moments.
*On Friday, May 29th we had our final "Breakfast with Books" book club.
*During the month of May, some of my readers dove into Paul Griffin's novel Saving Marty.
*Paul joined us via Google Meet and we had a wonderful conversation about the story, writing, life, and getting through tough times.
*I was in awe as I watched Paul interact with my fourth graders. He was sensitive, real, and tuned into what the readers had to say.
*We were sad to bring our book club year to an end, but were happy to end it on such a high note.
