*There aren't too many exciting or fun things happening in education right now.
*We are teaching via hybrid. We are teaching from home. We are going to try teaching a whole class from behind a mask and a shield.
*A crazy year for sure!
*One constant I've tried to keep in place is our class read aloud and connecting with authors.
*On Tuesday, January 12th we had the pleasure of chatting with the one and only Chris Grabenstein.
*Our most recent class read aloud was his newest novel called The Smartest Kid in the Universe.
*One added bonus was Chris included a FBI Special Agent named "Patrick Andrus".
*This has been an extreme honor and made the reading of this story so much more fun.
*Chris began the presentation with a wonderful slide show of his life, his writing, and a whole lot more.
*We then had a chance to share some comments and ask questions.
*The fourth graders were enthralled, engaged, and completely entertained.
