How I Heard About It:
*After seeing this novel being discussed on social media, I decided to download the story via Audible and listen to the book while driving to and from work. What an incredible story it was.
What It Is About - FIVE Things You Need to Know:
*Obie was born a girl, but knows he was meant to be a boy.
*After transitioning, Obie wants to continue his dreams and goals of swimming, but that doesn't come real easy.
*He has issues with his coach and finds himself on a new swim team.
*Obie can't seem to get away from a true bully, even with the help of new friends.
*When Obie meets Charlie, he feels truly himself, but what will happen when he tells her?

*Obie's family was such a guiding force in his life and I'm pleased they were portrayed that way.
*The content within the story was quite mature with heavy language and topics.
*Overall, an impressive and important read that I won't soon forget.
Who Should Read It:
*Because of the language and some content, I would definitely say this novel is geared toward middle-school and/or high-school readers. Happy Reading!
