Be Kind
*This was our second "Life Lesson" Thursday for our writer's notebook.
*Last week we had a mini-lesson about "Being Brave."
*The lesson today was all about "Being Kind."
*I thought this was the best video clip to share with my students.
*We watched the clip twice and then discussed as a class.
*After the discussion each writer spent about five minutes writing in their notebook.
*The writers can record their reactions, their thoughts, their feelings, or their reminders.
*We wrap it up by having a few students share and watched the video one more time.
*This message/lesson of being KIND will carry us throughout the entire school year!
