"Tent City"
*I try to pick a variety of photographs to share with my students on Wednesday.
*When I ran across this one, it caught my attention and was completely different than anything we have observed and written about this year.
*After a quick class discussion, the fourth graders get busy writing.
*They can record their thoughts, feelings, emotions, connections, or ideas.
*Some of the writers also create a fiction story.
*At the end of our time, a few of the writers will share what they wrote!
