"My Fight Song" by Rachel Platten

*I was just introduced to this song last week.  

*When I watched the video with the ill woman being sung to by Rachel and "friends", I was a puddle.

*What a powerful song, powerful words, and powerful message.  

*After listening last week, I knew I wanted to share this song with the class.

*During the week I will show the various videos to my fourth grade students.

*On Monday we will spend between 5-10 minutes writing in our notebooks.

*The writers can record their thoughts, reactions, feelings, reminders, or connections.

*I'm thinking this particular song will lead to some powerful and personal writing.
