What I Thought Of It: A WOW story for sure! The narration was incredible. The plot unfolded via chapters about Luke and Toby growing up together and letters from death row. These two young men were two of the most memorable characters I've encountered. Their situations and surroundings were so heart breaking. The author did an incredible job of bringing the reader into their lives. He also created a strong sense of mystery and suspense as to what occurred to one of these boys that brought him to death row. The plot was intense, emotional, and raw. This is one of the best young-adult novels I've come across in quite some time.
Who Should Read It: I would recommend this book to the high-school, college, and adult reader. I can't imagine any reader not becoming completely engrossed in the story. Happy Reading!
