*Erin Soderberg is one of our favorite authors. She made a visit to our class last fall when we read The Quirks for our bookclub.
*When she was with us, Erin shared that she was working on a new series with Disney.
*I was fortunate to receive an ARC of Milla Takes Charge. After reading the book, I was excited to share the story with my readers.
*A sign-up sheet went up and the girls in the class quickly added their names to read the novel.
*We received even greater news when Erin offered to share the manuscript of book #two which is called Piper Cooks Up a Plan.
*The girls are sharing a couple of copies while making notes, suggestions, and ideas as they read. They feel empowered that Erin wants to hear their opinions about the story.
*The reading time is quite exciting in our room right now between some of the girls reading book #one and some reading book #two.
