Wonder Wednesday - Picture Book Author Visit
*One Tuesday, November 19, 2019 we had the privilege of hosting author Cori Doerrfeld.
*I had shared her picture book, The Rabbit Listened, with my fourth graders.
*This was an award winner from the 2018 Charlotte Huck Book Awards.
*The message, theme, and life-lesson of this beautiful story is such an important one to share with young people.
*Sometimes we just need our friends to sit by us and LISTEN.
*My students were captivated by the story. We were thrilled when Cori agreed to spend some time with us.
*The fourth graders had the chance to share comments and ask questions about the picture book.
*Cori also read us the book again and she was captivating.
