*Friday was an exciting morning in my classroom.
*We had our third "Breakfast with Books" book club.
*Our first book of the year was The Sasquatch Escape. The second selection was Flora & Ulysses.
*This past month we read Treasure Hunters by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein.
*This book club meets about once a month to discuss the novel that was read by the members.
*Some of the students volunteer to bring in breakfast treats to share with the group.
*We had an excellent discussion about this wild adventure of a story. The readers expressed their excitement to read the next book in the sequel when it comes out.
*We will be Skyping with Chris Grabenstein later in January about the book. As part of the book club, we wrote our questions for the author.
*I must say that "Breakfast with Books" is one of my favorite parts of my teaching career.
