Be Giving

*What a beautiful video clip with such a powerful message.

*My hope by sharing these videos on Thursdays with my students is to make them better citizens of the world and our community of learners.

*To begin our writing time, I share the video with the class and we discuss it for a bit.

*The writers then record their thoughts, feelings, reactions, ideas, and reminders in their writer's notebooks.  They can also write fiction if they would like.

*I have everyone write for about five minutes and then we share at the end of our writing time.
