Life Lesson #20 (Be a Hero - Celebrating Day 100)...

"Be a Hero"

*Thursday is "Life Lesson" day for our writing focus.

*I try to find video clips to share with my students that will teach them "life lessons."

*Today is the 100th day of school so I wanted to find something that was geared toward this.

*We watch the video as a class a couple of times and discuss quickly.

*The fourth graders then write about the video.  They can record their thoughts, ideas, reactions, feelings, or lessons they learned from the video clip.

*A few of the writers will share their writing at the end of the 5-10 minutes of writing.
