"The World's Greatest" by R. Kelly
*This has been one of my favorite songs for a long time. The message is so powerful.
*I also think the video is pretty cool and I know my young writers enjoy watching.
*After we view the video, we get busy writing in our writer's notebooks.
*The kids can record their thoughts, feelings, emotions, reminders, or connections.
*Sometimes we play the video again if we have time.
*It is always interesting to watch them notice things they didn't see during the first viewing.
*At the very end of our writing time, a few will share what they wrote.
