*On Friday, April 16th we had the incredible opportunity to chat with author Barbara O'Connor.
*After reading her newest novel, Halfway to Harmony, I knew I had to share the story with my fourth grade readers.
*I chose it for a "Breakfast with Books" book club selection. The readers got a copy of the novel, began reading, and prepared for our author visit.
*Each reader wrote comments and questions to share with Barbara.
*We met via Zoom before school on that Friday morning. Normally, we meet in person in the classroom, but of course nothing is normal with Covid-19.
*Our book club was fun, engaging, and thought-provoking. Everyone had such a good time listening to the author share about her writing life, the novel, and so much more.
