*I love when I hear a new song, love it, and want to share it with my students.
*I saw a "Beats" commercial over the holiday weekend and this song was the theme to it.
*It was catchy and I wanted to know more about it. So of course I went to YouTube.
*I'm excited to share this new selection with my writers today.
*We will watch/listen to the video and have a quick discussion.
*They will then write their reactions, thoughts, feelings, reminders, or ideas.
*At the end of our writing time, we have a few of the kids share what they wrote.
*It will be interesting to see if any of my 4th graders have heard this song before I shared it with them.
