Our Favorite BOOKS from 2016/2017

*The year is coming to the end and what a year it has been.

*I didn't quite reach my goal of having my readers create really good and strong book trailers, but we did make some progress as the year progressed.


*I look forward to next year and spending more time, effort, and direct instruction on how trailers are created and what they should include.

*As an end of the year project, I had each student, either alone or with a partner, create a trailer of a favorite novel we shared this year.  It could come from our read aloud and/or book club selections.

*Even if they created one earlier in the year, I had them remake one using all the lessons we learned this year on what makes for a GREAT trailer.
